There are loads of digital "happennings" in Bristol, UK at the moment - here’s something that really interests me:-

"The Mobile Bristol Centre is part of the DTI’s City & Buildings Research Centre, the principal founders are Hewlett Packard Laboratories, the University of Bristol and the Appliance Studio."

A project in progress from Sun Microsystems which has a great novelty factor to it. I can see the attraction if like me you end up with literally dozens of windows open at once. I can also see how this would be an attractive interface for media jukebox PC’s. I wonder how processor and memory intensive the finished product will be?

IE doesn’t support the CSS2 property max-width, but there is a hack to get the same effect outlined here on Svend Tofte’s site
